VERTICAL RIB FORMED ROOFING
|
| This type of roofing has formed
ribs ¾" to 1¼" in height and spaced from 6" to 12"
on center. The sheets come in a width of 30" or 36" and are
fastened to the roof with color matching screws. The sheets are in one
continuous length from eave to ridge. Vertical Rib Formed Roofing is used
on steep sloped roofs, it is the least expensive and also the least
durable due to the large number of exposed fasteners used to secure the
roof. Vertical Rib Formed Roofing has a baked-on paint finish. |

STANDING SEAM ROOFING
|
|
|
This type of roofing has vertical legs 1" to
1½" in height and vary in spacing from 12" to 18" on
center. This gives the roof a straight line appearance. The Standing Seam
Roof is fastened with hidden clips, which results in few exposed
fasteners. The roof sheets are one continuous length from eave to ridge
and either locked together or mechanically seamed on the side lap.
Standing Seam Roofing can be used in lower sloped applications and is
ideal for roofs that have difficult details such as dormers and valleys.
Standing Seam Roofing has a baked-on paint finish.
